The other place where there are rebuilt apartments is
Montemaggiore (i.e. greatest mount), in province of
Siena. Its name recalls the importance it had in the
past: preferred point from where monitoring all the
movements towards Siena (visible at approximately 15
km as the crow flies.
Palazzuolo Vecchio is approximately 5 km away. The
main building is central and it is connected to two
other little buildings. In
front of the house, limited by a spare wall avoiding
prying eyes, at 100 m. there is a swimming pool (7x14
m.). From its edge, it is possible to see Siena and
its cretes. The swimming pool can be reached from the
house, walking along a paved path. Behind and around
the house and the swimming pool, guests can relax in
the shade of one of the many trees present on the lawn,
especially during very hot and sunny days.
Beyond this, at their own disposal, guests have a traditional
oven where bread and pizza can be cooked.
